Have you ever wanted to try out being a firefighter? Well this is your chance! The Hartsville Fire Company is holding a completely free firefighter summer camp in July. The camp will be held from 7-8:45pm on July 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st. The camp is for anyone ages 14 and up who want learn what it takes to be a firefighter. This is a hands on camp taught by several enthusiastic firefighters that will be going over multiple different aspects of the fireground. Skills being taught will include the use of breathing apparatus, stretching and flowing firehose, communication, firefighting gear, and much more!
