When: June 4, 11, 18, 25, 2025 Where: Hartsville Fire Station Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Who: anyone 14 years of age or older who wants to learn about being a firefighter.
The program is a joint effort by all of the fire stations in Warminster, Warrington, Warwick, Hartsville, Southampton and Ivyland Fire Companies to introduce young people to the Fire Service. Participants will learn many things including: hose rolls, carries and packing; fire hydrant operations, fire extinguisher operations, deluge gun operations, self contained breathing apparatus, pump connections, and many other basic skills.
This is a hands-on program that will teach individual skills as well as team skills. The final night of the program will feature a simulated fire with all attendees responding on the fire truck.
