Hartsville Fire Co. was dispatched at 17:18hrs to a dwelling fire in the 700 block of Cheryl Dr. by Bucks County 911. Bucks County radio reported numerous calls. Police responding radioed they could see a column of smoke from a distance away.
Squirt 93(Asst. 93 Gottschall) arrived on scene reporting a dwelling with fire showing. Squirt 93 went in service with several 1 3/4" hose lines. Ladder 90(Batt. 91) arrived on scene and was instructed to ladder the dwelling and open up the roof. Deputy 93(Mullelly) assumed command.
Two firefighters, one from Warminster Fire Dept. & one from Hartsville Fire Co. were injured and transported to Abington Memorial Hospital and released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshall's office. |
